Quick THEA

Quick THEA Registration: Registration for the Quick THEA Test is held at the University Testing Center, located in the basement of the College of Education Building, Room 7. Registration must be completed nolater than two business days prior to the test date. Each examinee must first pay an institution fee at the Bursar's Office, located in the basement of the Bell Building. A receipt will be given to you from the cashier which must be present at the Testing Center, An admission ticket will then be issued to each candidate to assure you a seat for the Quick THEA Examination. This will complete your registration. It recommended that you register as soon as possible before your intended test date is full and closed for registration. Institution fee is nonrefundable and nontransferable.Registration on line is available at our web site but you are still required to report to the University Testing Center before your test date to receive your admission card.
Fee: The total cost for the test is $39.00. The cost includes an institution service fee of $10.00 payable to Texas Southern University at the time of registration by cash, check, money order, or credit card; and an examination fee of $29.00 payable to NES which can only be accepted on the day of the test in the form of a check, money order or credit card. Cash will not be accepted.
Identification: At the test site, two forms of identification will be required with one showing a picture, such as a driver's license, passport, or an alien registration card.
Time Duration: The Quick THEA Test is a five hour examination and you are allowed to leave if you finish before the end of the time period.
Rescheduling: If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment and wish to reschedule, you must return to the Testing Center with your admission ticket before your test date to set another date for your examination.
Test Location: The test will be administered in the College of Education Building.
Test Results: Test results will be mailed to the examinee within ten business days after the test date. Test results are also available, by computer, at the TSU General University Academic Center/GUAC Office.
